When did you start working for iQor and what type of work do you do?
“I started working for iQor November 2011 as an agent handling calls to – and from – customers who are a little behind on their bank card payments. I’ve also worked as a quality analyst; monitoring agent calls and providing feedback to help them improve. When it comes to processes, I’m a real stickler so I was asked to serve as “Compliance Captain” to help agents understand the importance of following policy – that was a wonderful experience!”
What do you love most about helping customers?
“The best part of this job is working alongside my customers to help them resolve issues with their accounts. I love processes but I really love people! I love connecting with them and working to make things better for them. I’m their advocate and I make sure they can feel that.”
“I love the quote, ‘This too shall pass’ by Suf Farid al-Din Attar. It means each day is a new day and you get to start over and make it better than the day before.”

What do you want prospective employees to know about iQor?
“iQor is a wonderful place to work. There are many opportunities to make a difference… Especially for the customer who really dreaded making the call to us because they got behind. Everyone is different but we still connect in one way or another. We work together like family. There are opportunities to move up. If you work hard, you will be rewarded for your efforts. “
Bonus fun fact
“I’m originally from Gnissua, a small German village near the Baltic Sea. When I came to the US, I ate everything with a fork – including hamburgers, hotdogs, and French fries. I had to get used to eating them like an American and now, I wouldn’t do it any other way.”
