iQor Earns Government Safety Seal in Dasmarinas

iQor becomes the first BPO recognized for health and safety in the region.

DASMARINAS, PH – The Philippines Department of Labor and Employment has recognized iQor Dasmarinas, Cavite as the first-ever recipient of the Government Safety Seal Certification for the BPO sector in the Calabarzon Region 4A. Companies in the manufacturing, utilities, and business process outsourcing (BPO) industries are eligible for the certification based on compliance with government health and safety standards. 

“This recognition by the Philippines government signifies how iQor prioritizes the health and safety of our employees and their communities. Teams across our organization collaborate to ensure a safe work environment for all employees at all times. This collaboration helped iQor achieve the first-ever Safety Seal Certification for a BPO company in the Calabarzon region,” said iQor President and CEO Gary Praznik.  

The significance and geographic scope of the certification honors iQor’s commitment to its employees. iQor, a managed services provider of customer engagement and technology-enabled BPO solutions, complies with health and safety standards to protect employees and provide reliable service to clients. With the help of technology and automation, iQor can distribute the health checklist and monitor vaccination status to ensure only those who are vaccinated enter iQor facilities. 

“iQor has made investments to ensure employees are safe in the midst of the pandemic. This includes creating a team in charge of contact tracing as well as a separate audit team that guarantees adherence to protocols,” said Fleurette Navarro, iQor senior vice president of global recruitment and Philippines human resources. “Through collaboration between human resources, operations, facilities, marketing, and IT we work towards a common goal. We have created a culture in which everyone embraces the importance of following protocols for the greater good and adapts to new ways of doing things.” 

The certification was presented to iQor by the Department of Labor and Employment leadership team headed by Attorney Nepomuceno A. Leaño, II, OIC Assistant Regional Director DOLE RO4A.
