iQor Qares Announces New Chair to Lead Nonprofit Organization

Richard Eychner assumes role as chair, propelling the next phase of support for iQor employees and communities worldwide

iQor Qares is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Eychner, iQor’s Chief Culture Officer, as the new Chair of iQor Qares, succeeding the successful tenure of Martin Lehtio, iQor’s Chief Operating Officer. iQor Qares is iQor’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to supporting iQor employees, their families, and their communities around the world in need of financial assistance due to life-altering or catastrophic events.

Lehtio has served as Chair of iQor Qares since its establishment in 2020, playing a vital role in shaping a culture of support within iQor that has provided critical assistance to over 1,000 employees globally, significantly improving their lives and their communities. Lehtio spearheaded the creation of iQor Qares, ensuring a solid framework to provide essential support from its inception. Under his leadership, iQor Qares expanded its presence to the Philippines, broadening its reach to make a meaningful impact on more employees and their families. He will remain an active member of the Board of Directors. 

“Marty has been instrumental in establishing a strong foundation for iQor Qares, ensuring we can provide essential support to our employees and their families during their most challenging times,” said Eychner. “I am honored to take on the role of Chair and carry forward this important mission, further expanding the support we provide to this next phase of impact.”

Eychner brings a wealth of experience to his role as Chair of iQor Qares. His dedication to creating meaningful employee experiences aligns with iQor’s core value of giving back, fostering a culture that encourages support for both employees and communities in need. Eychner also serves as a strategic advisor on iQor’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, where he has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to ensuring all employees feel heard and valued.  

In 2023, iQor Qares assisted more than 420 iQor employees and their families, and in the first three quarters of 2024, more than 500 employees and their families received assistance. Donations have helped beneficiaries rebuild after natural disasters, provide medical and end-of-life care for loved ones, and address food insecurity, among other life-altering events. iQor Qares improves the well-being of iQor employees and their families, reinforcing iQor’s commitment to a supportive workplace culture that has earned it Great Place to Work® CertificationsTM.
